Duration: Part-time 3hs a week 6pm-9pm
Introduction:
This recreational advanced course is intended for those wishing to develop their floristry skills further and to expand on their previous knowledge and skills already gained at level 2 and to develop them further to a level 3 standard. A short achievable course, suitable for those who do not wish to do a full year qualification.
Entry Requirements:
To join the course you will have achieved a qualification at a level 2 standard, or have equivalent shop experience and evidence.
Course Details:
The course is made up from any of the following units:
- Bespoke tributes
- Complex hand tied designs
- Large decorative arrangements
- Specialist wedding designs
- Farewell flowers
- Elements and Principles of design
- flower quantities, ordering online and stem types
Specialist Resources:
The course can be supplemented by visits, the preparation of commercial orders which are taken by the academy, the preparation of arrangements for external events, the preparation of displays, participation in competitions and shows.
Additional Information:
Protective and suitable clothing to be worn during all practical sessions. You will need to have access to a camera to create a portfolio of your work.
Cost: £1000.00 includes flowers, tuition, and sundries. Deposit to book your place is £100.00 and the remaining can be paid in instalments over the course.
