Terms and Conditions

Potential students will all be interviewed too ensure that they are included on the course felt to be most suitable for them.  At interview, our Health and Safety policy, Data Protection policy and Intellectual Property Rights policy will be covered.

Our payment policy states that all courses may be booked with a non-returnable 10% deposit to secure a place on the course.  After that, you will complete a personal plan with a senior member of staff, stating how the remainder of the payments will be completed.  This will be signed and dated by both parties and each will have a copy.

Once the course has commenced, certain costs will be incurred within the first month and, if you decide to leave, these costs will be passed onto you.  For courses leading to qualifications, the following payments will be expected:

  • Leaving within the first two weeks.                       The 10% non-refundable deposit.
  • Leaving within the first two – eight weeks.                                  20% of total cost
  • Leaving within eight – twelve weeks*.             50% of total cost

(*Those on twelve-week courses will be expected to pay 100%)

  • Leaving after twelve weeks.             100% of total cost

For other courses, payments due will be agreed with the senior members of staff.

If you tell us that you are having problems in making payments, we will try to help you to make alternative arrangements.  However, regular size and storage is still in place for me and to have put the best time late payments may mean that we stop providing fresh materials for you to use in class until the payments are made.  If your payments are not made and you do not make arrangements with us, you may be asked to leave the course and we may take action against you, which could be referring your debt to our external debt collection agency, which may lead to Court action being taken against you.  However, we will only do this as a last resort.

If you do not attend regularly or fail to achieve the standards required for qualification, you will not be entitled to a refund.

If we have to cancel a lesson at short notice for a reason beyond our control (i.e. flood/power cut/weather conditions etc), we will use our best endeavours to reschedule the class or add the hours onto the end of the course.  We also reserve the right to use other highly qualified tutors to teach if this is felt to be in your interest.
